About the -ed Word Family
All -ed words share the short e sound, as in egg. This pack practises reading and writing bed, red, fed and wed. For extra writing practice, ask your child to write two more -ed words, such as led or Ted, on scrap paper.
Write it together: copy the sentence “The red sled is in the shed.” and circle every -ed word.
