About This Worksheet
Braille lets people who are blind or have low vision read with their fingers. For young children, the best way in is through the senses: how we use eyes, ears, nose, mouth and hands, and how things feel rough, smooth or soft.
Children match senses to objects, trace dotted shapes, match braille letter patterns, decide what is helpful, match textures, colour an everyone-learns-differently picture, find the odd one out, build a sentence and check braille patterns with yes-or-no questions.
