About This Worksheet

Thanksgiving is a good time to help children notice what they are thankful for. Pages such as I am thankful for and the gratitude jar, where children cut and glue pictures that make them happy, give that idea a simple, hands-on form.

The pack also practises early skills: dotting the right number of circles, counting autumn items, guiding a turkey to the pie, two word searches, a crossword with words like Harvest and Gratitude, a dot to dot and finishing a half picture.

Activities in This Pack

  • I am thankful for: draw or write what you are thankful for
  • Colour the pie orange
  • Dot the number: dot the right number of circles for each Thanksgiving item
  • Thanksgiving maze: help the turkey find the pie
  • Thanksgiving word search (cranberry, pumpkin, turkey, pie, family and more)
  • Thanksgiving word search 2 (food, corn, fall, bird)
  • Fall counting: count each item and write the number
  • Thanksgiving crossword puzzle
  • Happy Thanksgiving dot to dot
  • Gratitude jar: cut and glue things you are thankful for
  • Finish the picture: draw and colour the other half
