About This Worksheet
Each page has five rows. In every row, dots sit in ten-frame boxes; your child counts them, then draws a line to one of five numbers on the right. Ten-frames show numbers in groups of five and ten, so children start to recognise amounts without counting every dot one by one.
The first page uses numbers 1 to 5, and later pages move up through the teens to 20, so the set grows with your child.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a ten-frame?
A grid of ten boxes in two rows of five. Filling it with dots helps children see numbers in fives and tens.
Which numbers do these worksheets cover?
From 1 on the first page up to 20 on the later pages.
Does my child need to count every dot?
Not always. Once they know a full row is five, they can count on from five, which is faster.
