About This Worksheet
For each number from 1 to 5, the first page shows the numeral, its word and three groups of pictures to count. The second page asks your child to find and circle every star showing that number, mixed in with nearby numbers. The third is a Find the Path maze where your child follows the number to help an animal reach its goal.
Seeing the same number in three different activities helps it stick, and the small range of 1 to 5 keeps the work manageable for the youngest learners. When these feel easy, move on to the Numbers 1 to 10 set.
Skills Your Child Practises
- Recognising numbers 1 to 5
- Counting small groups of objects
- Spotting a number among similar numbers
- Following a path in order
How to Use This Worksheet

- Start with the counting page, touching each picture as you count.
- On the circling page, say the number each time your child circles it.
- For the maze, point to the start and finish pictures first.
