About This Worksheet
Each row shows one picture and a choice of Urdu letters. Your child says the picture name, listens for the first sound and circles the matching letter.
Starting from the picture means your child has to hear the sound and then remember which letter makes it. This makes it a good step up from circling a picture for a given letter.

How to Use This Worksheet
- Name the picture together, stressing the first sound.
- Ask your child to say the sound before choosing a letter.

- If letters sound alike, such as س and ص, talk about the picture word.
- Do one or two pages per sitting.
