About This Worksheet
Each page has a column of letters and a column of pictures with their Urdu names. Your child says each picture name, listens for the first sound and draws a line to the matching letter.
Matching asks a little more than circling, because your child works with a full set of letters and pictures at once. It is one of three beginning sound formats, together with Circle a Picture for the Letter and Circle a Letter for the Picture.

How to Use This Worksheet
- Say each picture name slowly, stressing the first sound.
- Ask which letter makes that sound before drawing the line.
